Q: Do I need a ticket to attend?

Q: What if I can't make it?

Q: What does my ticket include?

 

A: Heavy appetizers and light dinner, dessert, open bar, dancing and music, raffles and prizes, and more!

 

 

Q: Is seating assigned or open?

 

A: This will not be a plated sit down dinner, but more elegant affair similar to a wedding cocktail reception

 

 

Q: Can I buy tickets at the door?

 

A: No. Tickets must be bought in advance. Raffle tickets will be available to purchase the night of


👗 Dress Code

Q: What is the dress code?

A: Creative Cocktail Attire - show off your elegant, colorful & expressive attire. Dressy but not drab - let's mirror the museum's artsy flair!


⏰ Timing & Schedule

Q: When should I arrive?

A: 6pm start, 10pm end.

 

Q: Is there an afterparty?

 

A: Many will walk down the street to the Lantern afterwards, who will stay open just for us.

 

 

Q: Do I need to stay the whole time?

 

A: No, stay as long as you want. Auctions/Raffles will be announced at the end of the evening, however you do not need to be present to win.

Q: Is dinner served or just appetizers?

A: Heavy apps. You won't leave hungry, we promise.

 

Q: Are drinks included with my ticket?

 

A: Open bar (however no red wine due to museum restrictions)

 

 

Q: Will there be vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly options?

 

A: Yes

Q: How do the silent and live auctions work?

A: We will have a link available for parents prior to the event to check out our auction items and place bids. You can also bid at the event. 

 

Q: How do I bid—paper, mobile, or both?

 

A: Both

 

 

Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

 

A: We will accept cash, Venmo or credit card.

 

 

Q: When and how do I pick up items I win?

 

A: We will arrange distribution after the event.

A: Parking is adjacent to the museum, or car pool, party bus or Uber!


🎉 Etiquette & Expectations

Q: What actually happens at a gala?

A: The gala is hosted every other year and is our school's largest fundraiser. It's a huge party that celebrates our parent community, our hard working teachers, and our incredible school.  Our goal is to fundraise for our K-2 Playground, so each ticket sold directly helps fund that initiative. Additionally, raffle and auction items during the event will also go toward our playground so our hope is to raise as many dollars as possible during the party. We will eat, drink and have a blast!


🏫 School-Specific (for elementary/PTA galas)

Q: Do proceeds directly benefit the school?

A: All dollars (up to $100,000) will go directly to the construction of the FES K-2 Playground.

Q: Can non-parents attend?

A: No FES parents only. However, anyone can contribute money to our playground initiative
