Room Parents form a partnership to assist the teachers and their classrooms. Their responsibilities include being the designated contact for communication between teacher and parents outside the realm of instruction as well as planning classroom parties throughout the year. Fifth grade room parents will additionally help with the 5th grade year-end picnic. 

If you are interested in becoming a Room Parent for your child's classroom, please fill out this form no later than September 5th. The PTA will then give the forms to the individual teachers and the teachers will choose Room Parents for their class. Those selected to be Room Parents will be notified by Tuesday, September 9th and will be provided with necessary instructional information. 

If you have multiple children at FES, please list your first, second, and third preferences for room parents. Every effort will be made to accommodate your preference but it cannot be guaranteed. We prefer to only designate one room parent assignment per year as many class parties fall on the same days.
